ABOUT US

Carnivore Capital is a South African based investment manager following a contrarian investment approach rooted in value investing. We are patient yet aggressive in our nature, not scared of waiting when there is nothing to be done and conversely to act decisively and aggressively when circumstances call for it.

We are not short-term traders or speculators, we invest for the long term and do not follow the crowd for fear of being mediocre.

We maintain a significant vested interest by always having our own capital invested alongside that of our investors.

Our passion lies in finding and understanding unique businesses and investment opportunities. It is our responsibility as investment managers to identify the unknown and to prepare accordingly as this is the basis of our risk aversion strategy.

Things we look for in investments are:

Sustainable long-term competitive advantages
